WE ARE VERY MUCH STILL HERE

In light of the public health pandemic, ACT has decided to close its doors to the public to ensure the health and wellness of our staff and the young folks we work with on a weekly basis. We are moving youth programming to an online model to continue providing emotional support and political education to the amazing young people of color in our community.

ACT staff will continue to be available by call, text, email, DM, or over video – and we remain committed to our mission. We understand that not everyone has the privilege to work from home, and ACT staff decided collectively that it is our obligation to put those with compromised immune systems and those who are not afforded the basic human dignity of paid sick leave or access to basic health care at the center of this global health crisis.

If you need to get in contact with ACT, please send us an email at act@actforwomenandgirls.org or DM us on social media. We are here for you. “Social distancing” can feel scary and isolating, and though we may be physically less visible, we are very much still here working for our people and community.

For now, we will be shutting our doors to the public until April 12th. During this time, please consider making a donation to support ACT for Women and Girls. Your support helps us to pivot and be creative at engaging young people through remote mediums and social media during this time. We look forward to continuing to build a reproductive justice movement in Tulare County with you!

In Solidarity,

ACT Staff
